About Jess Wade

Through songs that are passion personified and a voice that delivers raw emotion, Jess Wade is an amalgamation of singer, songwriter, poet, rocker, and rebel. Drawing from a rich heritage of folk, country, and southern rock, Jess exhibits a style that is both appealing and catchy, but also uniquely his own. Sultry but rough, his style of phrasing cuts close to the source and causes the unsuspecting listener to stop and take notice.

In addition to his solo accomplishments, Wade’s outlaw country rock band, Jess Wade & Company, performs an eclectic array of both cover songs and heart-felt original material. A typical concert showcases Wade’s rich vibrato voice accompanied by a precarious thundering of drums accentuated by resonant, but not too twangy, lead guitar and the eye-catching bass licks of Kelly Kingston. On both upright and electric bass, Kingston’s hard hammering style has taken her across Canada, Mexico, and the US, where she has landed slots on Austin City Limits and multiple performances on the Grand Ole Opry.

From the pubs of the Carolina mountains to the honkytonks of Nashville, and streets and dinner theaters across the South, Jess Wade & Company has proven their ability to write and perform quality songs and have gained the undying devotion of numerous loyal fans.
